This variety is Cherokee Purple and it's surprisingly sweet for a tomato. The fruit gets between 2" - 6" diameter. And it's really good for everything regular tomatoes can do. Plus, if you were to look at your local farmers market and try to buy the same kind, they are a heck of a lot more expensive than the regular tomatoes. So you're saving money not only by growing your own tomatoes, but by growing your own "specialty" tomatoes.
