Anab, or Jujube as it's know in english, is one of my favorite fruits. They're about the size of apricots, have a seed like an olive, and taste like really sweet dry apple. Take a look:
A little back history on this fruit. The Jujube, otherwise known as a Chinese Date, was first domesticated in the area between India & China. They love hot summers, and lots of water. But they will grow pretty much anywhere.
A word of warning. They do shoot out suckers, so keep that in mind. They're also very thorny, so I wouldn't have small kids jump around it. But it's a very good tree, and produces a lot of fruit.
